La Oportunidad

Develop, maintain and co-ordinate product production plans and schedules through the complete Retail production cycle.  Responsible for production and/or finishing schedules within the "Scheduling Tool' and DSRP (Demand Solutions Requirement Planning), to enable the lowest cost production plan that meets the sales forecast.  Will collaborate with internal production managers and with corporate planning group to develop production and/or finishing schedules within available capacities. 

Principales Responsabilidades

  • Maintains production and/or finishing schedules within the "Scheduling Tool" of DSRP to achieve desired inventory levels, maximum production efficiencies and utilizations   
  • Collaborate with internal production managers, sourcing group, and/or planning group to ensure newly developed schedules are within capacity   
  • Monitor WO creation to ensure orders are being written according to master schedule   
  • Collaborate with production managers to validate upcoming production schedules so that issues can be detected and remedied before a customer service issue arises   
  • Highlight and report fluctuations that could cause issues in procuring product components   
  • Highlight and report service issues; research root causes and solutions   
  • Highlight and report gaps (under/over) in capacity and coverage   
  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Perfil y Habilidades Básicas

  • Bachelor's degree required; related field preferred, such as Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics, International Business, or Business.  Related internship(s) or 1-3 years of related experience strongly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of one or more of the following tracking, inventory control and planning/scheduling systems preferred:  JDE, SAP, RedPrairie, Oracle, SIMMS, inFLOW, MJC2, Preactor, SAP, JDA, DSRP, Logility, etc. preferred
  • Working knowledge of Supply Chain and Planning Concepts
  • APICS certification preferred
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Able to summarize data and wide-ranging issues to enable executive decision-making
  • Capacity to adopt a global perspective
  • Fluency in another language considered an asset:  Spanish, Chinese
  • Results oriented; issue resolution required
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Hearing is required in order to hear instructions, receive information from various sources, and understand safety warnings
  • Vision is required in order to read instructions, interpret data, and formulate metrics
