The Opportunity

The incumbent’s main function is to perform tasks within the IT Distribution team to support business resources in the Head Office and global distribution centers, which include documentation, resolve production issues; participate in developing solutions, testing and implementing projects or initiatives in a support role.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Participate in testing changes and subsequent implementation of new functionality with IT resources and users;
  • Document new processes and procedures; creation of testing documentation; create training materials;
  • Support end-users in understanding the use of business application software;
  • Participate in production support;
  • Support the Distribution team to carry out training programs.

Profile & Core Competencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, or equivalent
  • Experience working in a distribution related environment and inventory control/ management combined with supply chain/logistics would be an asset
  • Experience with ERP and warehouse management systems would be an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated team skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Excellent written and oral skills in English, French. Spanish is an asset
  • Traveling may be required outside Canada - project dependent (Less than 10%)
