Analyst, Operations Planning

The Opportunity

Analyze equipment and capacity requirements to support the production plan.  Develop analysis reports for various supply chain issues.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Analyze inventories and establish the most efficient Sewing and Textiles production levels considering impacts on the sewing team learning curves, on the spinning operations, on inventory turns, etc. (Daily).
• Develop tools and analysis reports to be used by other members of the department in their daily operating functions
• Compile information on the availability and necessity of various production equipment in order to support future production needs.  Submit proposals on the adequate manner to balance and maintain this capacity.
• Analyze needs according to sales forecasts, production, and inventory.
• Communicate with the various production, sales and logistics services
• Generate any other report or analysis

Profile & Core Competencies

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field
• 3-5 years experience with degree or 5-8 years relevant work experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Access)
• Knowledge of MRP and ERP systems
