The Opportunity

The Inventory Control Administrator will be responsible for processing replenishment transfers for Gildan-owned distribution centres, third party logistics and consignment warehouses, as well as reconciling inventories for the consignment warehouses.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Process and maintain replenishment orders for Gildan owned distribution centres, third party logistics and consignment warehouses. Track and investigate discrepancies on inbounds to the third party logistics and consignment warehouses.
  • Maintain records of all warehouse transfers via a shipment log; compile and file relevant documentation.
  • Perform weekly reconciliation of consignment inventories, document reasons for variances and take appropriate action to reconcile. Take action and make recommendations to relevant parties to address recurring root causes.
  • Coordinate physical inventories and cycle counts for the consignment accounts and make adjustments to reconcile virtual and physical quantities.
  • Maintain relevant KPI’s; compile and analyze various reports on a weekly/monthly basis.


Profile & Core Competencies

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline and at least three (3) years’ experience working with inventory management or in a similar field. Experience with E1 or FDM4 would be an asset.

Skills Required

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a methodical approach to work are essential.
  • Strong quantitative skills for data analysis and interpretation.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
