Full Time/Part Time:
Job Status: Permanent
Performs supportive clerical functions for inventory control and promotion build areas within the Retail Operations Department.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- We have a 2nd and 3rd shift openings for this position
- Reconciles shipments received from manufacturing and 3PLs; communicates information to supervisor in a timely manner.
- Performs JDE inventory transfers from other Gildan facilities to SDC.
- Sets up and closes transactions in RedPrairie for inside project SID to Dock transfers.
- Tracks and reviews incoming goods in RedPrairie and/or JDE for large projects set up by Sourcing department; communicates receipt information to supervisor in a timely manner.
- Performs 2-way match between RedPrairie and shipment receipts to ensure expected product has actually been received.
- Maintains daily reports in order to update outside departments of inventory and location status.
- Prioritizes job functions while working in a changing environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Profile & Core Competencies
- High School or Technical Diploma
- 1-3 years
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Basic Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience preferred
- Experience operating Radio Frequency (RF) equipment and scanners preferred
- Good verbal and written communication required
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for a majority of the time
- Hearing required in order to hear instructions, safety warnings, etc.
- Vision required to operate a keyboard and to complete required data entry
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English language effectively
- Must be able to work in a team-based environment
