The Opportunity
Reporting to the Director Treasury, the person will play an active role in supporting the capital structure activities, share buyback, analyzing and recommending best hedging instrument to be used for the company considering market conditions. In addition, the incumbent will have to monitor overall banking fees to better challenge and better allocate between bank partners.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Support, implement and analyze financial impact of debt financing, share buyback and other capital structure strategies
- Prepare month-end reporting on foreign exchange hedging positions and manage monthly and quarterly presentation to executive and Board members
- Monitor and analyze overall bank fees to see proportion of fees given out to each bank
- Prepare and monitor any interest swap
- Execute foreign exchange transactions and ensure proper reporting and documentation for hedge accounting
- Experience in debt issuance process
- Manage analysis on foreign exchange trends
- Ensure application of departmental policies and internal controls which relate to capital structure strategies
Profile & Core Competencies
- 7-10 years’ experience in Corporate Finance
- Ability to work on multiple project with high attention to detail
- Ability to analyze, evaluate and form independent judgments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong quantitative skills
- Fluency in Spanish Strong Asset
- Ability to interact with and build relationships with people from different departments and levels of seniority
- Be familiar with cash management activities in order to support Treasury Manager during peak period and/or vacation period
